La-La Land Records and 20th Century Fox present the remastered and expanded re-issue of legendary composer Jerry Goldsmith's (WARNING SHOT, CHINATOWN, STAR TREK: THE MOTION PICTURE, GREMLINS, THE EDGE) original score to the 1966 Twentieth Century Fox western feature STAGECOACH, starring Ann-Margret, Red Button, Michael Connors, Bing Crosby, Van Heflin and Slim Pickens, and directed by Gordon Douglas. Also included are Goldsmith tracks from two episodes of the 1965-66 CBS/20th Century Fox television series THE LONER, starring Lloyd Bridges and created by Rod Serling. Produced by Nick Redman and Mike Matessino, who together located the original STAGECOACH score elements, and mastered by Daniel Hersch, this special re-issue of one of Goldsmith's finest western scores includes the previously missing banjo overlay and adds 8 additional minutes of previously unreleased music. Detailed, exclusive liners from writer Julie Kirgo round out this can't miss Goldsmith release, which is limited to 2000 units.
